One of the book reviews:

I got a whimsical version of this on a whim, and I did not expect much, because these books, “written by a famous person,” are usually ghost-written exercises for self-praise. From time to time, however, you come across really good and meaty memoirs deljuan oher … and this is one of them. Mr. Ocher clearly wrote this book himself. It was written in a colloquial style not typical of professional authors, and he so brilliantly personalized the book. You can say that you are reading your own words and thoughts of this young man. It is very nice. The essence of the book is painful, beautiful and funny at the same time. Mr. Ohher’s sense of humor and his ability to tell stories of terrible sadness mix into something really special.
